Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The State Tax Committee launched training seminars for tax employees conducted by representatives of the World Bank mission.

The World Bank mission is currently in the State Tax Committee as part of the next phase of technical assistance to support the tax reform of Uzbekistan.

On 3 February, a training seminar was held at the State Tax Committee, in which representatives of several divisions of the State Tax Committee took part, including the departments of taxpayer segmentation, desk control, strategic development, as well as specialists from the Interregional State Tax Inspectorate for major taxpayers.

During this training seminar, a representative of the World Bank mission, John Roach, examined in detail the audit of real estate and the construction sector. Seminar participants analyzed potential risks in these sectors, as well as familiarized themselves with case study methods.

In addition, detailed information is given on what you need to pay attention to both in the process of pre-audit work, during the direct audit, and on the results of its completion.

These training seminars will be held for 4 days and cover a number of relevant topics related to tax administration.
