Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 18 to 20 May this year, the National Exhibition Complex Uzexpocentre will host the 25th Anniversary International Oil and Gas Exhibition of Uzbekistan - OGU 2023, as well as the 3rd International Energy Forum of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This event has been held annually since 1996 in conjunction with the exhibition company Iteca Exhibitions and partner LLC ICA Eurasia LLC with the support of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

More than 300 foreign companies and international organizations are participating in the OGU 2023 exhibition and conference. In particular, Gazprom, Lukoil, SOCAR, Haldor Topsoe, BakerHughes GE, Bureau Veritas, WorleyParsons, Honeywell, Indorama, Linde AG, Gazprombank , Tatneft, Siemens Energy, Huawei, Rosen Group, Zeppelin International AG, Sumitomo Corporation, Ernst&Young, Zarubezhneft, TMK, Italuz Spa, JSC Severstal ”, “AspenTech Ltd.”, “Rosatom”, etc. It is worth noting that among the participants more than 40 companies are the debutants of the event.

Within the framework of the forum, the III International Energy Conference is being held. Within the framework of the exhibition, there is a youth seminar zone, where discussions and presentations of innovative ideas of young scientists and industry specialists are held.

Technical and panel sessions within the framework of the international conference will be held on 20 May from 09:00 to 17:00 in the Amir Temur hall of the International Hotel Tashkent.

Before the grand opening of the event, a youth running marathon "UG YOUTH MARATHON" and an intellectual game "Zakovat" will be organized among workers in the energy sector of the republic.

Also, a Young Scientists Seminar will be organized for young scientists, where all active young scientists will be given the opportunity to make presentations on the results of their scientific work in the oil and gas industry, as well as organize an exhibition of scientific and innovative works based on the obtained scientific results. In addition, a "Case Championship" will be held among the teams of the oil and gas sector.

As part of the preparation, a lot of work is being done to increase the interest in the fuel and energy sector not only of the global oil and gas community and financial institutions, but also of young people, tourists, students and scientists of all ages. Intellectual and creative competitions are organized among adults and children, as well as culinary shows.
