Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan has denied reports about the death of Salim Abduvaliev, known as "Salimbay."

Information about his death circulated on social media, but MVD spokesperson Shohrukh Giyasov confirmed that these reports are false.

It is worth noting that in March 2024, "Salimbay" was convicted under the Uzbek Criminal Code for illegal possession of firearms and explosives, receiving a six-year prison sentence.
