Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Intel announced the change of its corporate logo for the first time in 14 years. "This move reflects a dramatic simplification of Intel’s corporate identity," the company’s website says.
The new logo “with exquisite symmetry, balance and proportions” retains the legacy of the old versions, making it both familiar and new. Separately, it is noted that the prominent dot above the letter "i" symbolizes the potential and power of the company’s processors.
The new logo and its derivatives still use blue, but now some of the company’s product logos have also been given new colors, making them brighter and more distinctive.
The company has retained the signature beep commonly heard in Intel advertisements. It is noted that now it will sound in a more "modern version".
