Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov, as part of his working trip to Kashkadarya region, visited the Digital Technology Training Centers at the Karshi branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies, located in Mirishkor, Nishan and Kasbi districts.
During the meeting, the Minister of ICT noted the importance of improving the quality of teaching, the relevance of learning foreign languages in order to carry out activities in domestic and foreign IT companies. At the same time, instructions were given for a wider involvement of students in the field of ICT.
The priority tasks of the Digital Technology Training Centers include the issues of broad involvement of the younger generation in science, improving ICT literacy, and training qualified IT specialists.
In the future, regional youth will be trained here in computer literacy, programming, robotics, using the Internet and in other areas.
The Minister of ICT also noted the importance of increasing the interest of young people in the IT field, realizing their potential. It was noted that every effort should be made to improve the quality of education in order to train highly qualified specialists.
