Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The law signed by the President of Uzbekistan introduced additions to the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

According to the Law, inspector-psychologists on issues of minors of internal affairs bodies are given the powers necessary to bring to administrative responsibility those responsible for failure to fulfill the duties of raising and educating children, the use of tobacco or alcohol products in public places, as well as the involvement of a minor in antisocial behavior.

In addition, inspectors on women’s issues of internal affairs bodies are given the authority to register an administrative offense for failure to comply with the requirements of a protection order by a person who has committed harassment and (or) violence or is prone to committing it.
