Innovative service academy of Samsung to be created in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Innovative service academy of Samsung will be created at Tashkent Professional College of Information Technologies.

Head of Samsung Electronic Office in Uzbekistan Ming Shing Wong, director of the college Agrippina Shin and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Central Council of Ecological Movement of Uzbkistan Saidrasul Sanginov signed a memorandum on creation of the academy.

New academy will start its work in September 2015. The service academy will have over 200 square meters of premises.

According to the memorandum, Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia in partnership with the college will equip a complex, which will include an auditorium and two laboratories, develop and introduce new educational module, INFOCOM.UZ magazine reported.

The college will train specialists in two new directions – repair and maintenance of mobile devices and repair and maintenance of Samsung digital TVs.

The memorandum also envisages necessity to develop ecological education and green skills, so the educational process will include issues of protection of environment.

Ming Shing Wong said that Samsung will support the project at least three years and the students will learn repairing not only Samsung products, but also other producers.
