Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Second Economic Forum of the SCO countries was held in Tashkent. During the two days, the participants discussed the development of mutually beneficial trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, worked out effective measures to build up ties in the SCO space.

According to the program of the forum, a fair of industrial innovations of the SCO was organized for participants and guests, the purpose of which is to create conditions for the commercialization of innovative ideas, technologies and projects of the countries that are members of the organization.

At the fair, which was held on the territory of the INNO Technopark, a collective stand of the Uzcharmsanoat Association was set up, where the latest localized products in the leather and footwear industry of our country are presented. Among them: gelatin, shoe lasts and soles, glue. Also, guests and participants were presented with innovative developments in the field of processing leather and astrakhan skins without the use of chemicals. The stand also featured such novelties as thermoplastic elastomer, which is used not only in the shoe industry, but also in medicine.

TPR or thermoplastic rubber is a polymer composition that under normal conditions has the properties of soft rubbers, and when exposed to high temperatures, retains high fluidity and can be used for molding finished products. Within the framework of the fair, negotiations were held with the Forum participants from Pakistan and India, who showed interest in domestic products.

Participants and guests of the Fair were invited to the 13th international exhibition UzCharmExpo-2022, which will be held this fall in Tashkent.
