INGO-Uzbekistan increases premiums collection by 50% in 1H
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- INGO-Uzbekistan summed up results of the first half of 2013. The company collected insurance premiums over 5.3 billion soums in January-June 2013, which grew by 50.2% year-on-year.

The growth of collection of insurance premiums were achieved due to voluntary property insurance (+56%), insurance of construction-assembly risks (+2.3 times), complex insurance of automobiles (+2 times), insurance of civil liability, etc.

INGO-Uzbekistan said that it recorded significant growth in the regions of Uzbekistan. The insurance volumes, collected in the regions, rose 2.1 times year-on-year in January-June.

The volume of insurance payouts made up over 1.1 billion soums, which rose by 50% year-on-year. The main part of payouts fell to share of such products as voluntary medical insurance, automobile insurance, property and cargo insurance, insurance of travellers.

Total volume of formed insurance reserves made up 5.4 billion soums as of 30 June 2013, which rose by 57% year-on-year.

The volume of investments of the company into economy of Uzbekistan made up 10.8 billion soums, which grew by 13% year-on-year.

The assets of INGO-Uzbekistan reached 15.5 billion soums at the end of the first half of 2013. The growth rate made up 22% year-on-year.

INGO-Uzbekistan is one of the largest insurance companies of Uzbekistan with foreign capital. Its charter capital makes up 7.6 billion soums (3.49 million euros in equivalent). The founders of the company are InVestPolis (subsidiary of Ingosstrakh) – 90%, Bukhara Oil Refinery – 5% and Uzbekistan Havo Yollari – 5%.
