INGO-Uzbekistan and Ingosstrakh are implementing a project for the social protection of migrant workers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- INGO-Uzbekistan and Ingosstrakh announced the launch of a project for the social protection of labor migrants from the Republic of Uzbekistan. The corresponding statement was made during a press briefing of companies during the International Financial and Banking Forum of the CIS Member States, held in Tashkent from 28 to 29 March.

As part of the project, the companies have developed and introduced a mechanism for insurance protection of citizens of Uzbekistan engaged in labor activities in the territory of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. The policy covers the risk of sudden illness and accident (injury, burns, an incident at work, etc.), as well as the death of the insured person.

The limit of liability is 10 thousand US dollars, the policy includes the cost of providing primary health care, dental care, evacuation and repatriation of the insured person, the organization of activities for the search and rescue of the insured person, as well as the payment of a fixed compensation in case of death. The contract can be concluded for up to 90 days.

The project partner is Assistance Company “Europe Assistance”, which provides the provision of services around the clock through a single communication system. In addition, INGO-Uzbekistan and Ingosstrakh monitor the execution of insured persons in the online mode.

“We are pleased to announce the launch of a socially oriented project aimed at supporting migrant workers. The proposed insurance mechanism will ensure the provision of medical care and the protection of the interests of our compatriots in the event of an accident,” Bakhtiyor Gaybullayev, general director of INGO-Uzbekistan said.

“Insurance is one of the most effective tools in providing social protection for people abroad. The experience and competence of our company allowed us to form a reliable mechanism that allows customers to declare and settle an insured event in a short time. A team of professional specialists and partners, as well as a wide network of the INGO Group, will allow us to provide high quality services at every stage,” the CEO of Ingosstrakh, Mikhail Volkov, commented.
