Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - At the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2020 was called the Year of Science, Education and the Development of the Digital Economy. This is symbolic, because digital technology is crucial for further development.
In order to implement the 3rd direction in accordance with the Five initiatives put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan - the organization of the effective use of computer technology and the Internet by the population and youth, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, through close cooperation with state authorities, is opening digital centers technology.
In Saykhunabad district of Syrdarya region, the opening of the Center for the Development of Information Technologies, dedicated to 1 June - International Children’s Day.
The opening ceremony was attended by employees of khokimiyats of Syrdarya region and Saykhunabad district, an IT park, as well as representatives of the public, enterprises and organizations in the field of information technology and communications, and youth.
The Center organized beautiful and comfortable rooms equipped with modern computer equipment. The training center organizes training courses for our youth on the basics of information technology, programming, robotics, e-sports and innovative entrepreneurship in the field of electronic commerce.
The goal is to educate our children in 3 age groups (9-15 years old, 16-19 years old and 20-25 years old) and gradually, step by step, to train leading specialists in the field of information and communication technologies.
In addition, the Center envisages the involvement of young people in computer sports (e-sports), training in the rules of e-sports, the formation of groups for various games, the organization of team games, competitions throughout the country.
