Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By Government resolution, amendments and additions were made to certain regulatory legal acts.

Accordingly, from 1 January 2024:

legal entities providing services for the storage of vehicles detained by authorized state bodies for violation of the law are selected on the basis of an open competition through the Unified Automated Information System of the Road Traffic Safety Service of the Department of Public Security;

permission to import, place, store, record and export detained vehicles from the parking lot is carried out through the information system " Penalty area";

the maximum payment for the services of delivery (transportation) and storage of vehicles to parking places are established by local khokimiyats.

Through the information system "Penalty Area" in electronic form, including:

a list of vehicles that have been detained, placed in parking lots and allowed to be removed from parking lots is maintained;

all payments are made for the removal of vehicles from the parking lot (penalties from the "Penal area" and for offenses).

This information system will be developed by November 1, 2023.

Also, until 1 December 2023, the SSDD Unified Information System will be improved in order to create the possibility of electronic selection of legal entities providing services for the storage of detained vehicles on an open competitive basis.

The resolution enters into force 3 months from the date of its official publication.
