The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On measures on organization and holding International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange in 2012”.

The document said that International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange will be held at UzExpoCenter exhibition hall in Tashkent in two stages.

The first stage of the fair – sectoral fairs – will be held in March-June 2012, while the second stage – International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange – will be held on 23-27 October 2012.

The fair is directed at assisting enterprises of real sector of economy to access necessary raw materials and loan resources, helping to create market infrastructure for forming and expanding long-term business ties based on inter- and intra-industrial cooperation.

Participants of the Fifth International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange signed agreements for over 3.5 trillion soums and US$3.9 billion.
