Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Commercial banks in Uzbekistan, as of 1 March 2023, allocated loans to individuals in the amount of 105.19 trillion soums. Compared to the same period in 2022, this represents an increase of 48%, according to the data from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that the volume of the loan portfolio of commercial banks in Uzbekistan, as of 1 March, exceeded 397.64 trillion soums (an increase of 22%).
As of 1 March 2023, individuals received 47.63 trillion soums in mortgage loans, which is 28% higher compared to the same period in 2022.
Microloans received by individuals increased by 40% and amounted to 15.32 trillion soums.
As of 1 March 2023, individuals were provided with consumer loans in the amount of 25.56 trillion soums, which is 17% higher compared to the same period in 2022.
Loans for the development of entrepreneurship, as of 1 March 2023, reached 14.18 trillion soums, which is 33% higher compared to the same period in 2022.
The volume of other loans allocated to individuals amounted to 101 billion soums. Compared to the same period in 2022, this represents an increase of 99%.
