Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Indian airline IndiGo plans to launch direct flights between Delhi and Tashkent in August 2023. It is planned to operate regular flights from Delhi-Tashkent to Delhi using Airbus A320 and A321 aircrafts with the frequency of up to four flights per week.

This intention was expressed by representatives of the airline company in the negotiations with Uzbekistan Airports with the assistance of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in India.

As a result of the tripartite meeting, it was decided to hold the next stage of the negotiations, when the IndiGo delegation arrives in Uzbekistan.

IndiGo is an Indian private locoster airline, headquartered in Gurgaon, India. The company is the largest air carrier in the country in terms of the number of scheduled flights and the number of aircraft.
