UzACI said that Sachin Pilot familiarized with the activity of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies. During the visit, Indian official expressed his readiness to assist to expand exchange of students, professors and holding joint researches and consultations.
The guests also familiarized with process of distance education, conducted with the university and its branches in region, education process in Uzbekistan. The Uzbek side expressed intention to organize distance lectures with Indian educational establishments.
During the visit to the university, the Indian delegation visited the Uzbek-Indian Center for Information Technologies named after Jawaharlal Nehru, which was created in line with the memorandum between the governments, signed on 29 October 2004. The Indian side helped to equip the center and attracted Indian specialists to education process.
