Indian athlete to take part in the "Strongmen Games" in Khiva

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The famous Indian athlete Bikram Singh will take part in the first international tournament “Strongmen Games”, which will be held on 7-9 June 2019 in Khiva.

B.Singh is the prize-winner of the 2018 World Strongman Championship and is a member of the best Indian athletes in powerlifting (power lifting), the essence of which is to overcome the resistance of the heaviest weight for an athlete.

It should also be noted that for the preparation of videos about the tournament, a film crew, the leading Indian sports TV channel “DD Sport”, is taking off from India. Correspondents plan to cover the international tournament "Games of warriors" live for the Indian audience. The audience of the channel "DD Sport" daily is more than 100 million viewers.

This event is held with the support of the World Strongmen Federation (WSF) and the Federation of Strongmen Games and Weight Lifting of Uzbekistan.

The international tournament is dedicated to the memory of the great son of the Uzbek people Pakhlavon Mahmud, who was an undefeated strongman, a famous educator, philosopher and sufi in the countries of Central Asia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and India.

Strongmen and international judges from Azerbaijan, Brazil, Greece, Togo, China, Latvia, Russia, USA, Ukraine, Japan, Central Asia and others will participate in the tournament.
