India and Uzbekistan are heading to strengthen partnership in the jewelry industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Sarvar Khamidov held a meeting with the head of the All India National Gem Council and Siroya Jewelers Rajesh Jain.

The agenda included the development of cooperation between Siroya Jewelers and domestic jewelry manufacturers, as well as the establishment of supplies and sales of the Indian company’s products in retail stores in Uzbekistan.Rajesh Jain expressed his intention to invest in a joint project for the production of jewelry in Uzbekistan.

During the conversation, the possibility of training personnel in the direction of jewelry design based on Indian and international experience was also considered.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to continue studying the prospects for cooperation and use the full potential of the industry to strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries.

Siroya Jewelers is an Indian company founded in the early 1950s in Mumbai.
