Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Minister of Justice signed an order "On introducing amendments and additions to the Regulation on qualification commissions under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, departments of justice of the regions and the city of Tashkent".

In accordance with the changes, on violations committed by a notary during the suspension of a license, a new decision is made by the qualification commission. At the same time, the period for suspension of a license under a new decision begins to be calculated from the date of expiration of the initial period for suspension of a license.

The list of violations, in the event of which the validity of a notary’s license is suspended, is also expanding:

non-implementation in the prescribed manner of correcting obvious arithmetic errors in a notarized document - for 15 days;

non-observance of the type of notarial act - 1 month;

failure to send information about the right to real estate to the registering authority for inclusion in the register (except when, in accordance with the law, sending such information is not provided) - 15 days;

non-compliance with the rules of internal control on combating the legalization of criminal proceeds - 1 month;

commission of notarial acts expressly prohibited in the legislation - 6 months;

allowing a notary to receive a material benefit by an employee of a notary office or a third party (other than provided for in the legislation)

for the performance of a notarial act - 4 months;

absence during working hours without respect at the workplace - 15 days;

illegal establishment of a ban on the alienation of property - 3 months;

non-compliance with one or more minimum requirements established for the implementation of notarial activities - 15 days (if not eliminated within this period - until elimination).
