In the autumn-winter period, the maximum daily electricity consumption in Uzbekistan is expected to be in the range of 265-270 million kilowatt/hours

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – In the autumn-winter period, the maximum daily electricity consumption in Uzbekistan is expected to be in the range of 265-270 million kilowatt/hours.

Based on a plan of measures to prepare the main electrical networks for the season, 10 transformers, 66 circuit breakers with a capacity of 110-500 kV, 14 compressor units and overhead power lines with a capacity of 110-220-500 kV with a length of 810.23 km were repaired. 

Current repairs of 267 transformers, 1520 circuit breakers, 22 air compressors and overhead power lines with a length of 4307.6 km were carried out.

By the end of the year, the transmission capacity at the substations will be increased to a total of 1,678 MVA (megavoltamperes).

For the prompt elimination of emergencies, 65 brigades of duty groups have been formed. In total, 314 vehicles were prepared for the season.
