Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Resolution “On measures to support production in households using the industrial method and the use of new reserves in household plots and dehkan farms” was adopted.

According to the Resolution, districts specialize in sowing export-oriented and highly profitable crops, as well as small-scale production and cultivation of products.

In 2024, standard training and experimental sites will be created in 54 districts, designed for sowing export-oriented and highly profitable crops and increasing the knowledge and skills of the population in this direction.

Also in 2024, in 51 districts specialized in fruit and vegetable growing, new projects are being implemented to introduce shock freezing of fruit and vegetable products;

Unsecured loans in the amount of up to 100 million soums, along with production projects, are also allocated for projects for growing products, with the exception of planting agricultural crops;

Refrigerated warehouses, ready-made greenhouses, packaging, drying and processing shops are provided to the population on lease with the condition of payment in installments over 12 months.
 
Preparation of vermicompost at home is included in the list of types of activities (work, services) that self-employed persons can engage in.
