Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Employees of the Department of Financial and Compliance Control of JSC Uzbekneftegaz are conducting an extraordinary inventory of oil products at Morokand oil depot LLC.

In the course of the study, it was found that during the inventory of petroleum products at the Bulungur and Djambay branches, deliberate technical changes were made in vertical steel tanks (VST) and a steel pipe was manually placed in the tank.

According to operational data, a shortage of 2,612.9 tons of oil products for a total of 22,125.3 million soums was revealed in the Bulungur branch and cases of theft in large volumes were identified, in particular:

- 2,382.1 tons of AI-80 gasoline for 18.34 billion soums;

- 44.1 tons of diesel fuel of the ECO brand for 705.8 million soums;

- 111.6 tons of TDL-05 diesel fuel for 1.75 billion soums;

- 75.1 tons of Euro TD-K5 diesel fuel for 1,32 billion soums.

According to operational data, a shortage of 4,441.2 tons of oil products for a total of 51.65 billion soums was revealed in the Jambay branch, in particular:

- 2,341.7 tons of AI-80 gasoline in the amount of 18.03 billion soums;

- 4.6 tons of EURO K-5 diesel fuel in the amount of 81.7 million soums;

- 92.3 tons of diesel fuel for 1516.3 million soums;

- 2,002.5 tons of ECO brand diesel fuel 32,022.1 million soums.

A shortage of 7,054.1 tons of oil products in the amount of 73 billion 775 million soums was revealed in the Bulungur and Djambay branches of the Morokand oil depot. The inventory is being carried out by specialists of the Financial and Compliance Control Department and other relevant departments.

The collected research documents and facts of evidence regarding cases related to shortages and identified cases of theft were submitted to the State Security Service for legal assessment.

In the process of studying the material responsible for the Bulungur branch, Kh.L. during the inventory of accountable oil products, it was found that 7 vertical steel tanks (VST) were deliberately modified and an iron pipe was manually placed inside the tank; 7 million soums and the fact of a major theft was revealed.

Earlier, employment contracts concluded with 11 responsible officials of Morokandskaya Oil Depot LLC, who made mistakes and omissions, were terminated, disciplinary sanctions were applied to 6 employees.
