Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Adviser to the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Bobur Rakhimov made a presentation on "Digitalization of higher education, science and innovation: the path to a new ecosystem" in the section "Bilateral relations in higher education: priorities and trajectory of development” within the framework of the 1st Forum of Rectors of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

Today, an important aspect of digital transformation is the speed of obtaining information. To achieve this goal, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation intends to carry out a number of digital transformation activities.

As part of the digital transformation strategy, it is planned to develop a unified approach to the digital transformation of education and science, which will be broadcast to universities, the creation of a number of services for all aspects of the activities of educational and scientific organizations.

In his report, B. Rakhimov noted plans to launch the edu.uz digital ecosystem in 2025 in the field of higher and professional education, science and innovation. One of the main tasks to achieve this goal is intersystem integration to organize the mutual exchange of information between information systems.

Also, by 2025, it is planned to develop 10 new information systems and improve existing information systems and databases. In 2025, as a result of the integration and improvement of all information systems, a single DATAHUB will be created.

Focusing on the strengthening and further development of bilateral cooperation, Bobur Rakhimov proposed to establish cooperation and exchange of experience between ministries and universities on the creation and development of modern platforms for the development of software products and tools.
