The draft law, which was passed in the first reading, was submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers to the Legislative Chamber within implementation of the state programme “The Year of Healthy Children”, the press service of the lower house of the parliament said.
The working group includes MPs, representatives and experts of Cabinet of Ministers, ministries, public organizations, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tashkent State Law University.
At the meeting, the participants discussed draft law, opinions, proposals and recommendation on further improvement of the document. It was noted that there is need to further improve legislation on protection of health and sanitary-epidemiologic well-being of population in context of global changes and development in public relations, changes in environment.
The draft law envisages measures on improving legal bases for sanitary-epidemiologic well-being of population, including on adhering to sanitary-epidemiologic requirements by children, cultural, sport and other establishments, including vaccination of population.
The participants underlined that the draft law should be discussed at the events, attracting specialists, businesses, public organizations, who engaged in ensuring sanitary-epidemiologic well-being of population.
The tasks of the working group were agreed at the meeting.
