Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The technical assistance mission on monetary and financial statistics of the International monetary Fund (IMF) visited the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 17 July to 2 August 2019.

During the mission’s visit, the relevant departments of the Central Bank, together with IMF specialists, carried out a number of activities to improve the compilation and dissemination of monetary and financial statistics in accordance with the updated IMF monetary and financial statistics instructions.

In cooperation with IMF experts, preparatory work was completed to open the page of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the section of International financial statistics of the IMF in the fourth quarter of this year.

The list of published data on the financial stability of the banking system has been expanded in accordance with the rules of the IMF and a draft data on “Financial stability.

As part of the work on the formation and dissemination of reviews of other financial institutions (pawnshops, micro credit institutions, insurance and leasing companies) were analyzed and pre-classified methods of financial reporting of these organizations. And also, further work on the preparation of this review has been developed.
