Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 14 to 27 June this year, experts from the International Monetary Fund on the application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) at the Central Bank conducted a technical assistance mission. This was reported by the press service of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

As part of the mission, international experts of the IMF held meetings with representatives of the relevant departments of the Central Bank, where they discussed issues arising from the full application of IFRS, the parties exchanged views.

International experts highly appreciated the work of the Central Bank on the transition to IFRS and presented a number of recommendations for the full application of IFRS.
