Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the activities carried out by the tax authorities and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office, illegal sales of alcohol and tobacco products were identified in the Zangiota, Parkent districts, as well as the city of Angren, Tashkent region.

Discovered and temporarily seized:

- from a store in Zangiota district - 5 types of alcoholic beverages in the amount of 226 units with counterfeit excise stamps worth 12.1 million soums;

- from a warehouse owned by a citizen in Parkent district - 14 types of alcoholic beverages in the amount of 5053 units with counterfeit excise stamps worth 69.1 million soums;

- in the city of Angren - 5 types of tobacco products in the amount of 1010 packs worth 12 million soums without excise stamps.

The documents drawn up in the above cases were transferred to law enforcement agencies for taking legal measures.
