Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During an operational action conducted by the Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office in the Chilanzar district, pharmacy employee F.M., owner of a pharmacy under LLC “G.T.,” was detained for attempting to sell 50 units of the medication Omnadren 250, produced abroad, without the necessary documentation, for 3 million soums. The drugs were seized as evidence.

Additionally, during a joint operation by the Department for Sergeli and the State Security Service, individuals involved in the illegal sale of medications were detained, including Y.I. and others, for selling 14 units of the controlled drug Zardex to citizen A.A. for 1.1 million soums. The seized medications were taken as evidence.

In Mirishkor district, an operation revealed that pharmacy staff of LLC “O.F.M.” illegally offered 50 units of Gabapentin-C3, containing controlled substances and produced abroad, for sale without the appropriate license. The medications were seized as evidence.

Criminal cases have been initiated under Article 251-1 of the Criminal Code (preparation, distribution, advertisement, or demonstration of products containing controlled substances not classified as narcotics or psychotropic substances, or illegal handling of such substances or toxic chemicals). Investigations are ongoing.
