Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Based on the appeals of the population in Navoi region, a study was conducted, as a result of which the activities of several lime shops were suspended. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources.

The department of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Navoi region received an appeal from residents of the mahalla "Binokor" and "Bunyodkor", Sadriddin Aini Street and the station area of the city of Navoi, about the release of toxic substances into the air, which negatively affects human health.

In order to study the appeals and activities of the shops, the regional department created a working group consisting of employees of the regional state tax inspection, the emergency department, the construction department, the department of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health, the department of the cadastral agency, the chairman of the gathering of citizens "Yangi aryk "and the inspector for the prevention of the mahalla, carrying out its activities on the territory of the gathering of citizens" Yangi aryk "of the Karmanovsky district.

In the course of the study, the environmental pollution monitoring department of the regional administration carried out monitoring and analysis in the lime production workshops. Based on the results of the analysis of samples, it was found that all concentrations of pollutants emitted into the atmospheric air, including hydrogen sulfide, formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, sulfur, carbon dioxide, exceed the established standards.

Also, when conducting an inventory of a workshop owned by citizens of T.K. and B.A., it turned out that they functioned illegally. On this fact, an administrative case was initiated on the basis of the relevant articles of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The activity of the workshop was stopped until the indicated circumstances were eliminated.

In addition, lime production workshops operating in the Karmanovsky district, owned by Shaxboz Navoiy, Gold Cheken Farm, Hamid Akrom Kelajagi Servis, Imron Karmana Navoiy limited liability companies, as well as citizens D.B, B.A, T.F, K.T, warning letters were issued about the installation of dust and gas cleaning equipment.

At the same time, it turned out that citizen S.Sh had illegally used a lime hob. According to article 88 of part 3 of the Civil Code, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the citizen and a fine was imposed. The lime kiln was demolished on site.
