Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 20 December 2019, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov met with Deputy Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) Omer Kojaman, who arrived in our country as head of the Parliamentary Observation Mission for 22 December parliamentary elections.

The meeting discussed practical issues of the Mission, including 9 international observers.

During talks, special attention was paid to the interaction between Uzbekistan and the Turkic Council, prospects for further strengthening relations in the cultural, humanitarian, educational and other fields were examined.
