Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ilgor Hudud seminar: new opportunities for young people in Jizzakh region was held on 29 March 2019.

It was organized by the Project Office Ilgor Hudud of the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Territorial Department for Development tourism of Jizzakh region in the framework of joint work on development of the unique tourism potential of the region. Representatives of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, students of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, the Jizzakh Pedagogical Institute, representatives of the tourist industry took part in it.

The seminar presents unique opportunities for young people to create business projects in the field of tourism. These are support for start-ups provided by the Project Office, consultations and direct co-financing of projects by a business incubator.

Among the ambitious tasks for energetic, caring young people who are building the future with their own hands are improving the infrastructure, enriching tourist routes with new objects, developing tourist brands in Jizzakh region.

Monuments of antiquity, archaeological and historical artifacts, numerous shrines for pilgrimage, unique cuisine of the region, formed over the centuries, make the region promising for development of cultural, educational, active, gastronomic, agricultural, ecological tourism.

The seminar noted that the region has a rich historical heritage, unique flora and fauna, a convenient geographical location. Due to the climatic conditions in Jizzakh region, health-improving tourism is actively developing.

Olga Subanova, Project Office Consultant, spoke about the role of youth in tourism development. On the example of successful people of the modern world, who once began their business with brilliant ideas, she urged young people to believe in success and strive to realize their plans.

Temur Shukurov, a specialist in the Project Office, in his presentation spoke about the support of start-ups in the framework of the Ilgor Hudud project, about the conditions created at the initiative of NAPU in the business incubator in Jizzakh. He also urged young people to bring their ideas and projects to the business incubator, noting that there they will be able to receive the full range of consulting support, share project risks and receive co-financing.

In his speech, Azizbek Gaybullaev, Head of the Territorial Department for Tourism Development of Jizzakh region, focused on the real situation in the tourism sector in Jizzakh and on the prospects for its development. The main message - we need ideas, for example, to create craft houses, workshops, their advertising and promotion on the Internet and attracting tourists.

In general, it was stressed that tourism should become the engine of economic development of Jizzakh region and the contribution of young people to the disclosure of tourism potential can be the most significant.
