II-Tashkent International Biennale of Applied Arts to be held

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to preserve national traditions, present works of modern applied art, as well as revive forgotten folk traditions and demonstrate the processes taking place in contemporary art, further strengthen friendship and cooperation between different peoples, strengthen cultural and humanitarian relations at the international level, on 11-15 November, the II-Tashkent International Biennale of Applied Arts will be held in Tashkent.

Within the framework of the II-Tashkent International Biennale of Applied Arts, the following will take place:

On 11 November at 16:30 Central Exhibition Hall (1st floor) “Silk carpets exhibition-sale”;

On 11 November at 16:30 Central Exhibition Hall (2nd floor) “National Ceramics Exhibition”;

On 11 November at 5:00 p.m. Directorate of Art Exhibitions Display of national costumes "A'Lo bahmal";

On 12 November at 11:00 Tashkent House of Photography Exhibition of design projects "Convenience in the city and at home: urn-bench-fireplace";

On 12 November at 15:00 International Caravanserai of Culture named after Ikuo Hirayama "Exhibition of Japanese Applied Arts”;

On 12 November at 17:00 Uzbekistan Gallery of Fine Art; Trade exhibition “Masters of Jewelry”;

On 13 November at 11:00 Tashkent House of Photography Round table on the theme "Art in the urban environment";

On 14 November at 10:00, Press Conference Hall of the Union of Arts of Uzbekistan Scientific and Practical Conference “Globalism and National Similarity in Art”;

On 14 November at 14:00 Museum of Oriental Miniature Art named after Kamoliddin Behzod Exhibition "Ancient types of paper, calligraphy and miniature works";

And also master classes and scientific and practical conferences will be held.
