IFC’s project holds training for banking specialists
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- IFC Azerbaijan-Central Asia Financial Markets Infrastructure Advisory Services (ACAFI) Project in partnership with Regional Banking Educational Center (RBEC) held a master class for representatives of banks on issues of further introduction of Programme for risk certification in Uzbekistan n 29 October 2012. The ACAFI is implemented in cooperation with Swiss Government.

During the event, the certificated trainers of RBEC paid attention to role of banks in speeding up economic growth and risk management, which they face during their operations. They also studied real financial cases and business situations, which explained risk management processes.

The Programme of Risk Management is designed for specialists on risk management, including accountants, auditors, internal control and lawyers. The programme allows to reveal and manage possible risks.

All interested sides can register as participants to the risk certification programme till 2 November 2012. The exam will take place on 24 November. Registration terms can be found at GARP website.

In March 2012, the IFC signed agreement with Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) to train specialists to certification on direction of “Foundation of banking risks” in nine CIS states, including in Uzbekistan.
