Iddo Netanyahu said that reading of his play was held at the Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan last year. At that time, he said, he believed that it will be displayed as full play in Tashkent scene.

“Today, I am happy as any author, whose work to be displayed,” he added. Currently, the actors are rehearsing the play.

“Stage embodiment of the conceived will always be only one interpretation of the original. Nabi Abdurakhmanov is a wonderful director and a slightly changed concept is close to my own heart,” he added. He added that the acting of actors is also very interesting. He said that he believes that Tashkent is the city, which brings luck.

“I am happy to be here and I am looking forward to the happiness to see my work on your scene with your actors,” Iddo Netanyahu added.

Speaking about the topic of his play, Iddo Netanyahu said that he chose Holocaust theme as it will recall and warn current people, UzLife.uz reported.

“I think that all theater plays, there is one remarkable feature: when they were written, what would have been said - they never lose their contemporary sound. The play can be created and one hundred and five hundred, two thousand years ago - the content will always be projected on a date,” he said.

The Holocaust is as a reminder, as a litmus test for the detection of the state of society.

He said: “The audience themselves can draw parallels with what is happening in the play today. It seems that this topic will always sound as a reminder of what was unacceptable and impossible. Time will not dim and make people forget about it.”

Iddo Netanyahu said the culture will always make impact to public and political life. The theatre will not disappear.
