ICTWEEK Uzbekistan kicks off in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Annual week of information technologies - ICTWEEK Uzbekistan – started in Uzbekistan on 18 September 2017.

The Week will include various events dedicated to discussion of information communication technologies in Uzbekistan and abroad.

The first official event within the framework of the Week will be ICTSummit 2017. The event will be held in the format of the plenary session. Representatives of the World Bank will talk about evaluation and trends of the digital economy, and a visiting international expert on the transformation of the operation as an important stage in the development of ICT in Uzbekistan.

The Summit will be attended by heads of government bodies, enterprises and organizations of the IT sphere, international experts and analysts, representatives of such companies as Beltelecom, Microsoft, IBM, Huawei, etc.

On 20 September, Tashkent will host ICTForum 2017, which is divided into several sections. The meeting of the "E-government Uzbekistan" section will be held in the conference hall of the NEC "Uzexpocentre" from 9.30 to 13.30. The sponsor of the section is ZTE. The forum will continue with the session of the section "Digital Transformation in the Financial Sector" from 14.00 to 18.00.

On 21 September, ICTForum will continue with the sessions of the sections "IT Infrastructure" (conference hall of NEC "Uzexpocentre" 9.30 -13.30) and "Information Security" (from 14.00 to 18.00).

The sessions will cover topics such as use of cloud technologies to improve the interaction of employees with cloud services, mobile training and the future of education, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, and other issues of importance for the industry that participants will discuss during panel discussions. This year the Forum gathered participants from countries such as Russia, Belarus, Japan, China, Great Britain, India, the Netherlands, Korea, Kazakhstan.

ICTEXPO 2017 Exhibition will be held from 19 to 21 September and will demonstrate latest achievements in ICT sector. More than 70 exhibiting companies representing the domestic ICT industry, as well as countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Switzerland, etc., are participating in the exhibition.
