It was attended by more than 300 delegates from the International Telecommunication Union, the World Bank, South Korea, China, Russia, Belarus and representatives of international organizations, leading IT companies.
During the Summit, the participants discussed a number of strategic objectives set for industry and prospects for development of ICT business in new conditions. The event took place in the format of the plenary session. In particular, the participants discussed trends of the digital economy, transformation of operations as an important stage in the development of ICT in Uzbekistan.
Heads of government bodies, enterprises and organizations of the IT sphere, international experts and analysts, representatives of such companies as Beltelecom, Microsoft, IBM, Huawei and others spoke at the Summit.
In particular, reports were heard on such topics as: "Trends in the digital economy", "Industry 4.0", "On the role of artificial intelligence in the digital economy", "Evolution of mobile technologies and their impact on the further development of the Republic of Uzbekistan", "On the fundamental development of ICT in the global digital transformation", "Transformation of operations - an important stage in the development of ICT in Uzbekistan" and "On development of broadband, as a factor of influence on the ICT infrastructure and the welfare of the country”.
