Opening annual national information technologies exhibition, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov noted: “It is very important that from last year the exhibition acquired network character and organized in other cities of the country along with the capital. As you know, the exhibition is held in Nukus simultaneously with Tashkent. This is good demonstration of that informatization processes covers not only large cities, but all territory of the country. I want to express gratitude to organizers and sponsors of this fine exhibition.”

As in Tashkent pavilion of Ko’rgazma Savdo Markazi, Karakalpak stand of Beeline demonstrated latest technologies on broadband Internet and unique communication services of Beeline to the visitors of ICTExpo 2009. Special attention was allocated to B2B segment: latest tariff proposals of Beeline Business attracted attention of many representatives of business circles. Thousand people, who visited Beeline exposition, ensured the company implicit leadership in nomination “The most visited stand”.

Commenting the results of the exhibition, director of Western Regional Branch of Unitel LLC (Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region) Abay Kolanov said: “The award of the organizational committee, which was conferred to our stand, proves interest of population of Uzbekistan to mobile technologies. ICTExpo 2009 is symbolic event for us: we acted not only as General Sponsor of the largest IT-forum, but we also presented our services as universal operator.”

Chairman of Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan Mussa Erniyazov and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan Bakhador Yangibaev were honourable guests of Beeline stand on the opening day of the exhibition.

ICTExpo exhibition in Tashkent wrapped up its work today, 25 September.
