ICT Summit 2012 is organized by the Coordination Council for development of computerization and ICT, the Committee on information and communication technologies of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis (the Parliament of Uzbekistan), the Uzbek Agency for Communications and Information (UzACI), CIB GROUP Company and the Association of IT Companies and Organizations of Uzbekistan.

The main objective of the ICT Summit is to provide a favorable foundation for demonstration of the new trends and achievements from introducing the ICT into various spheres of life, as well as to discuss the prospects of the ICT development and expand the range of partners together with facilitating a rapid development of the ICT sector.

The Summit will discuss such issues as regulatory policies in the ICT field, ICT for social development, development of the software industry, ICT in public administration, development of the media business, e-commerce, e-health care, establishment of specialized scientific-and-technical zones and supportive infrastructure for business and innovational activities, the role of government in this process, and etc.
