ICT sector presented at industrial fair
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sectoral industrial fair of the Complex of education, healthcare, social protection, information systems and telecommunication of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan is taking place at UzExpoCenter from 18 to 20 May 2011.

Sectoral industrial fairs are held in line with the governmental resolution from 3 March 2011 “On measures on preparing and holding International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange in 2011”, UzACI said.

The main aim of the industrial fair is to assist enterprises in solving long-term business relations in production and supply processed raw materials, materials and spare parts, goods, producing new goods based on intra- and inter-industrial cooperation, attracting foreign buyers and partners.

The fair is attended by Ministries and departments of the complex of education, healthcare, social protection, information systems and telecommunication of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information (UzACI) also presented its exposition at the fair.

Uzbektelecom, national telecommunication operator of Uzbekistan, presented all spectrum of modern telecommunication services, such as voice communication, data transfer, video telephone, Interne services, CDMA mobile communication and others.

UZINFOCOM Center provides information about its projects in ICT sector, UNICON.UZ presents its developments in such spheres as email, electronic document turnover, file protection and others.

Tashkent University of Information Technologies presented its product on protection of information at fiber-optic communication lines, which protects from unsanctioned access.

The visitors can also familiarize with telecommunication equipment, produced in Uzbekistan, such as Set-top-Box for digital TV, signal convertors, etc.
