The delegation is paying visit to Tashkent to familiarize with the possibilities of implementing the Digital Office system in the Tashkent City Administration, processing and consideration of applications of citizens.

During the meeting, the guests were briefed about the state of development of information technologies for the introduction of "Electronic Government". The guests were also informed about the work of virtual receiving state bodies, about plans for their improvement, taking into account new IT solutions for dealing with citizens’ appeals, the press service of the ICT Ministry said.

The sides also considered issues of further development of cooperation between the Mayor’s Office of Seoul City, the Tashkent City Hall and the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications were discussed as well. The sides discussed issues of studying the Korean experience in implementation of the system for dealing with citizens’ appeals.

It was noted that today the main task is the use of information technologies in all sectors of society, in particular, in development of public services, ensuring public safety, in development and popularization of open data, in processing big data, taking into account modern IT trends, for raising relations to a new level.
