The sides discussed cooperation within the framework of the joint project “Public Administration Reforms and Digital Transformation”.
In particular, it was about allocating funding from the Ministry, attracting donor contributions, participating in the organizational events of the ICT Week 2018.
They considered joint work on implementation of the Strategy for five priority development directions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2020 and the Concept of Administrative Reform in order to ensure the transition of the national system of rendering public services to the population to a qualitatively new level.
On the agenda was also the issue of increasing IT and digital literacy of youth, introduction of new education systems with the involvement of leading experts (UNESCO, ITU).
With the support of the Minister for development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan, Inha University in Tashkent and TUIT in cooperation with UNDP, Uzbekistan is hosting an IT competition among girls at the age from 10 to 18 from January to May. About 450 women from all over the country are registered to participate in the competition.
