During the conversation, the prospects for expanding bilateral relations in the telecommunications and information technologies in such areas as the organization of high-speed transit communication channels, the increase in the volume of international telephone traffic between the networks of communication operators of the two countries, the organization of high-speed access to the international Internet network, training of personnel in the sphere ICT and other issues were discussed.

The parties stressed that expanding cooperation in the field of telecommunications and information technologies will help strengthen regional cooperation. Following the talks, the parties agreed to identify promising areas for further cooperation, as well as to work out the issue of signing relevant bilateral documents.
