The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan Vladimir Tyurdenev and adviser to the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for Public Relations and Communications Dmitry Fatykhov.
During the meeting, prospects for further cooperation between two countries in the field of information and communication technologies were discussed, the press service of the Uzbek Ministry said.
In particular, the parties considered such potential directions for further expansion of cooperation as: digital economy, training of ICT specialists, development of technology parks, training of specialists in public relations, development of postal communication, development of digital television and others.
As a result of the talks, the sides expressed mutual interest in joint work. On all issues raised, it was agreed to form working groups in short terms from both sides for further elaboration of priority areas of interaction.
