Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 June, a meeting was held between Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Shukhrat Sadikov and Senior Vice President of the Chinese telecommunication company ZTE Wan Siang.

The meeting was a continuation of ongoing negotiations that have taken place between the parties over the years.

The Minister, welcoming the guest, noted that the active presence of leading Chinese technology companies in the Uzbek market is the result of effective cooperation between our countries, as well as a favorable investment climate in our country.

The main topics of discussion were the prospects for cooperation in expanding the network of fixed and mobile broadband access. There was also an exchange of views on cooperation in the field of training and advanced training of industry specialists.

Senior Vice President of ZTE Corporation expressed the company's readiness to intensify its future activities in Uzbekistan.

The Ministry also expressed support for the close cooperation of ZTE Corporation with the telecommunication operators of Uzbekistan for the implementation of joint investment projects on the introduction of new technologies for the provision of modern and popular telecommunications services.
