IBM experts pay visit to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A team of experts of IBM visited Uzbekistan to assist to development of social projects for various companies and organizations of the country.

The team, included 12 experts of IBM from eight countries. They stayed in Uzbekistan with a months and helped AMBiT, Center of programmers BePRO, Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the consulting company Nazar Business and Technology and provide recommendations for their development.

IBM office in Russia said that such technologies as mobility, creation of online portal, business-analytics and experience in marketing, management of personal, finances and projects were used in Uzbekistan to achieve put goals.

In particular, IBM experts presented their recommendations on improving operations and project management at AMBiT.

IBM helped BePro Center in development and implementation of the Innovation Center creation project in Uzbekistan.

Foreign experts assisted the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan to develop requirements to development of technical task on creation of online cabinet (eCabinet), which will provide electronic services to businesses.

IBM specialists provided their consultation to Nazar Business and Technology (NBT) on improving management system within the company and optimize business processes.

The visit was organized within e IBM Corporate Service Corps, which is often referred to as a "corporate version of the Peace Corps". It is a global initiative IBM created in response to the challenges faced by business in the beginning of the XXI century - the dynamic markets, multinational teams, cultural diversification, the intersection various business functions, high standards of corporate social responsibility. The IBM Corporate Service Corps is focused on solving of social, economic and environmental problems in countries with growing economies.

Since its launch in 2008, the Corporate Service Corps has had a positive impact of the lives of more the 140,000 people through skills transfer and capacity building. Many thousands more have been positively impacted through the services of the organizations the Corporate Service Corps has supported. The Corporate Service Corps program has sent over 2500 participants on over 250 teams to more than 30 countries around the world including China, India, Russia, Brazil, South Africa etc.

The program participants are business associations, non-profit organizations, small business, educational institutions and government agencies. Subjects of the projects are at the intersection of business, technologies and society.
