Representatives of the ministries and departments of Uzbekistan, large scientific establishment and business entities participated at the seminar.

The organizers presented opportunities of the ArcGIS system, which is developed by ESRI (USA).

ArcGIS is an integrated collection of GIS software products that provides a standards-based platform for spatial analysis, data management, and mapping. ArcGIS is scalable and can be integrated with other enterprise systems such as work order management, business intelligence, and executive dashboards.

DATA+ is exclusive distributor of ArcGIS and other technologies of ESRI. I-Teco office in Uzbekistan, ITECO TASHKENT, is the only official partner of DATA+ in Uzbekistan.

Ulugbek Tagaliev, director of ITECO TASHKENT, said the seminar was aimed at informing interested organizations on opportunities of geography information systems. “And we achieved our goal,” he added.
