Hurshid Tojibaev faced Berik Abdrakhmanov in early 2015 and Kazakh boxer won the match. On 19 September, Tojiboev took revenge for that loss.

In the weight category up to 75 kg, Ulugbek Hakberdiev knocked out Romania’s Nicita Lazer-Loan in the first round to claim qualification points.

In the bout in the weight category of up to 81 kg, Shukhrat Abdullaev knocked out Bibirisia Marjianu Alexander of Romania in the first round.

In the weight category over 91 kg Ulubek Mubinov clinched a 3-0 victory over Milutin Stankovic of Serbia.
