Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Humans ecosystem has consolidated all payment and transfer services under the brand Humans Pay. This was made possible by the acquisition of the payment organization LLC "Maroqand" in 2022 (trademark UPay) and the integration of all services into a single platform.
Currently, the technological solution of the payment organization LLC "Maroqand" is fully integrated into the Humans ecosystem. This integration has allowed the company to significantly increase its market share across all segments of Uzbekistan’s fintech market.
As a result, fintech services within the Humans ecosystem have demonstrated significant growth. The number of Humans Pay clients in the first half of 2024 increased by 45% compared to the same period the previous year.
In the first six months of 2024, Humans Pay’s revenue exceeded US$5 million, a 65% increase compared to the first half of 2023. Transaction turnover in the first half of 2024 grew by 85% compared to the same period in 2023.
The number of transactions has also seen consistent growth — more than 60 million transactions were recorded in the first half of 2024, 21% higher than the same period the previous year.
"We see how convenient and accessible services of the Humans ecosystem are rapidly gaining market share. Our customer base, service turnover, and capitalization are growing — all of these indicators highlight the significant role Humans plays in popularizing cashless payments and improving financial literacy in the country.
According to Western experts, the current valuation of the Humans Pay service alone is estimated at US$60 million. Moreover, we foresee continued dynamic growth of the ecosystem, driven by the rapid development of Uzbekistan’s digital economy," said Vladimir Dobrynin, CEO and founder of Humans Group.
The further development of all fintech services within the Humans ecosystem will continue under the Humans Pay brand, a decision made by the company’s management in response to the high demand for payment and transfer services.
