Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Humans Group has presented its 2024 activity report, revealing that the company's turnover reached 17.77 trillion soums (+60%), with total revenue amounting to 515.4 billion soums, a 9.82% increase compared to the previous year.
Humans' super-app is a unique platform tailored for the Uzbek market, integrating mobile communication services, the Humans Pay payment and transfer system, the Humans Yaxshi food delivery service from bazaars, the Humans Market marketplace, and a cashback program, all in one application.
The active customer base of the ecosystem has been steadily growing: by the end of 2024, it surpassed 2.3 million users, representing a 28.01% increase compared to 2023.
More users are turning to the super-app to address their everyday needs. In December 2023, nearly 88% of active users were limited to just communication services. By September 2024, this figure had decreased to 84.6%. Currently, more than 1.25 million users combine at least two services within the app.
"We observe that adding new services to the ecosystem consistently drives the growth in active users and the frequency of transactions. In 2025, we plan to introduce new convenient products for our customers, such as the BNPL (buy now, pay later) service, microloans, and launch a social platform for targeted peer-to-peer assistance for those in need. We will also continue to expand the range of goods in the Humans Market marketplace and increase the coverage of our food delivery service from bazaars to 50 cities in Uzbekistan," said Vladimir Dobrynin, CEO and founder of Humans Group.
Fintech remains one of the key drivers of the company's growth. In 2024, net revenue from the Humans Pay payment and transfer service amounted to 133.1 billion soums, a 59.98% increase compared to 2023.
The number of unique users of the service exceeded 701,000 during the first three quarters of 2024, representing a 21.27% increase compared to the same period last year. The service's growth was fueled not only by the increase in the number of users but also by heightened activity: customers have been logging into the app more often, making more transactions, and transferring larger amounts. For example, in the first three quarters of 2024, the total volume of card-to-card transfers increased by 151.63%, and the number of transactions per active user grew by 62.15%.
The telecommunications segment is also expanding. The number of active users of Humans' telecom services in 2024 exceeded 1.56 million, with 279,200 using unlimited internet packages, a 78.55% increase compared to last year.
"In 2024, Humans demonstrated double-digit growth in most key indicators. We strengthened our position in the telecom market and confirmed the effectiveness of our strategy to integrate telecom users into the ecosystem. Customers are increasingly using multiple services within the super-app. However, our plans to develop the fintech segment were not fully realized due to unprecedented actions by the Central Bank and the biased policies of the regulator. Nevertheless, the Humans team did everything possible to support the ecosystem's growth and continue its development," concluded Vladimir Dobrynin.
