Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In 2017, Huawei carried out the first pilot project to introduce smart technologies into the school education system at specialized school No. 59 with in-depth study of the Chinese language in Tashkent.
In anticipation of Teacher’s Day, as well as the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival (Moon Festival), which is widely celebrated in China and also falls on October 1 this year, Huawei representatives visited School No. 59.
During the visit, a ceremony was organized to hand over to the school administration, free of charge, org. equipment in the form of laptops, smart TVs, printers to improve the technical equipment of the school.

Huawei has been operating in Uzbekistan for 20 years, during which it has been constantly focusing on introducing advanced technologies into the education system. To date, "smart" classrooms based on Huawei technologies have also been opened at the International House Lyceum, secondary schools 250 and 133, the Muhammad al-Khorezmi ICT School, and distance learning is also being implemented at the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers through intellectual board IdeaHub. On an annual basis, the company holds the global project Seeds for The Future, which opens the door for young talents to the world of information technology.
